Walking with alpaca´s
Walking is 1 of our alpacas’ favorite activities.
Jürgen, JP, Johnny and Ferry like to show their sporty side. Walking is 1 of our alpacas’ favorite activities, especially if she has been able to enjoy a tuft of grass in between. Hopping when they go downhill, followed by a snail’s pace, looking around or passing each other. In short: they set the pace.
Our alpaca farm borders the beautiful Natura 2000 Zeeland area behind the dunes of Dishoek. So you can step straight into nature from our alpaca farm. Relax in this beautiful Zeeland area and discover a green part of Zeeland with a soft alpaca next to you.
The walks always start with a small introduction about the alpacas and how to deal with alpacas and are always in small groups. Followed by a coffee-tea-fun moment with biscuits in our cozy alpaca barn or our beautiful green garden. You and the alpacas get to know each other a little better, you can feed them and take nice pictures. After the walk, we bring them back to their pasture together. We recommend appropriate clothing, including sturdy waterproof shoes. Parking is available on our property.

Nature alpaca walk
From 5 years, Duration of experience: +/- 90 minutes
After the introduction, we pick up the alpacas in the meadow, get to know each other better, take that nice selfie and feed a kibble while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea. After a 1 on 1 moment with our alpacas, we walk from our site into the green Natura 2000 Zeeland area. Just enjoy a quiet walk together with our alpacas.
- Suitable for children from 5 years old. Please indicate the age of children when booking.
- Under 7 years: min 1 adult per child, from 7 years : 1 adult per 2 children
- Keep in mind that this is a long walk for a small child.

Dune/nature walk
From 8 years, Duration of experience: +/- 120 minutes
A combination of a piece of nature with a walk on the dune path of Dishoek. During this sporty walk over the ‘Zeeuws Mountains’ you can enjoy the views over this beautiful part of Walcheren and the sea together with our woolly alpaca friends.
After the introduction, we pick up the alpacas in the meadow, get to know each other better, take that nice selfie and feed a kibble with a cup of coffee or tea during a 1 on 1 moment with our alpacas. Then we start our walk through the nature reserve towards the dune path and then end up at the farm again via the nature reserve.
- Suitable for children from 8 years old accompanied by 1 adult
- Attention! This is a brisk walk and contains a steep ascent and descent and is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Some fitness is certainly required.

Beach/nature walk
From 8 years, Duration of experience: +/- 140 minutes
In addition to walking, our alpacas also love to paddle. Beware splash danger!
After the introduction, we pick up the alpacas in the meadow, get to know each other better, take that nice selfie and feed a kibble, coffee or tea together with our alpacas to get to know each other a little better. After this we start our walk: via the nature reserve to the dune crossing and the beach! This is a steep climb, but these mountain animals have no problems with that. On the descent they put on an extra hop, feet in the water and enjoy.
In a small group we get a breath of fresh air, splash and run on the beach of Zeeland, and then return to our farm. Two hours in the company of these wonderfull alpacas.
The pace during this walk is not high, but it is a long walk and the alpacas like a sprint in between.

Attention! This is a brisk walk and contains a steep ascent and descent and is therefore not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Some fitness is certainly required. - Our alpacas like to go into the water, even in winter. Keep this in mind when choosing your clothing.

Alpaca experience with short walk
From 3 years, Duration of experience: +/- 60 minutes
Ideal with younger children! Nice sporty walk with a handsome cuddly friend next to you! After the introduction, there will be a more extensive alpaca encounter with a cup of coffee / tea / syrup and a cookie, where you can feed the alpacas kibble and get to know them a little better with the possibility to take pictures. After this we start walking (approx. 30 min), first a bit over our terrain combined with a short walk in the Natura 2000 Zeeland area.
- Suitable from 3 years old provided the children can walk a long way! Are you coming with children under 4 years old? Please indicate this clearly in ‘comments’.
- The pace is slow for this walk, and is adapted to the participants.
- Under 7 years: 1 adult per child, from 7 years: 1 adult per 2 children
- Children under the age of 7 are not allowed to use the leash alone, but together with an adult
- Infants under 1 can travel in a baby carrier free of charge, the adult carrying the child cannot accompany an additional child. This is to guarantee safety!

The following conditions apply to all our walks:
- Walks take place from 2 adults or 1 adult and 2 children unless otherwise indicated.
- Walks are not private unless otherwise indicated, the max number of participants is indicated with the walk.
- The walks are always guided, even privately.
- No matter how sweet we think dogs are, they can cause quite a bit of stress to our Alpacas. Dogs are unfortunately not allowed on our site and during the walk.
- Our Alpacas are very tame but they are still animals, so the handling of the animals is always at your own risk.
- Say sea, say flipflops. However, a sharp Alpaca claw between your toes is not so nice. Suitable, closed footwear is therefore required. Wearing open shoes is at your own risk.
- Nothing is as changeable as the Dutch weather, so think of appropriate clothing. Umbrellas are not allowed.
- Rain and wind are bad for our Alpacas’ haircut. In case of more than 6 bft and/or heavy precipitation, the walk will be canceled. In case of a light shower we will walk! If we have to cancel the walk due to weather conditions, you will receive a voucher or you can reschedule the appointment. You will be informed of this in good time by e-mail.
- In the summer, only the nature and short walk takes place during the day, alpacas can handle heat well and this walk offers enough shade, but if the temperatures are too high, we will cancel the walk. We will then offer an alternative or voucher in consultation. If no activity is planned in the evening yet, the walk can be postponed.
- Our boys love to socialize, but 2 adults per animal is fun enough. Along the way there is a change so that it remains fair. We think children from the age of 13 are mature enough.
- The following applies to the nature walk: per adult: Max 2 children between the ages of 7 and 12 per adult. per child under 7 years old, 1 adult.
- For the dune and beach walks: 1 child under 13 years old per adult.
- The minimum ages have been well thought out and the safety of our animals and participants and the walking pleasure for both have been considered, we will not discuss this. With a private walking tour, it is sometimes possible to have several children per adult participate.
- Alpacas are flight animals by nature, a scary situation such as a dog can cause an alpaca to suddenly give a tug on the leash. Therefore, children under the age of 7 should not hold the leash alone. For this reason, adults with a child in a baby carrier should not accompany an additional child. Do you want to change along the way, please indicate this in advance so that we can take this into account.
- We always like to think along with you, but your safety and that of our animals is paramount at all times.
- To keep it fair for all customers, everyone who participates pays.
- The welfare of our animals always comes first. During the introduction we will inform you what is and is not allowed, you are expected to respect these rules of conduct. If we believe that our animals are experiencing unnecessary stress due to your behavior, we will address you and, in extreme cases, ask you to leave the walk without a refund.
- Walks must be booked and paid for via the deposit in the reservation system before the start. the rest paid on site, Unless otherwise indicated.
- Prices include VAT and booking costs of the reservation company, no rights can be granted to this. If you want to cancel a booked walk or package or want to reschedule it to another date:
- In case of cancellation/change up to 48 hours before the walk/package, you will receive a full refund of the amount paid excluding the booking costs or you can move your reservation to another available time.
- In case of cancellation/modification from 2 days to 1 day(s) (24 hours) you may only reschedule your reservation or you will receive a 50% refund (excluding booking costs) if you do not choose this.
- In case of cancellation/change within 24 hours before the walk/package, we will charge the full amount.
- If you do not show up for your appointment, we will be forced to charge the full amount paid.
- Cancellations from us, other than due to weather conditions, will be postponed or refunded in consultation with you.
